welcome to the italian job catering – where positive energy, delicious food, and special moments meet. our journey started when we got the news that our Restaurant/bar bread and butter in kirra was getting demolished. but as the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you start a mobile catering business! fast forward, and now we're rockin' not one, not two, but three awesome food vans.
Some info that makes us special:
all our menus are all you can eat (meaning we will always ensure everyone is full before we go)
we offer both cocktail-style and sit-down-style service. we walk around with canapés during the cocktail hour. for the main course, we set up a buffet station for cocktail style,and for the sit-down style,we serve all the food on shared platters at the tables as a big family dinner
we offer a variety of food, grazing tables, platters, cold and hot canapes, salads, handmade gnocchi & pasta, woodfired pizzas, dessert canapes & dessert tables.
we cater for most dietary requirements. we've got lots of vegan and vegetarian options, we offer Gluten free pasta and pizzas (upon request) and some of our most popular canapes are gf.
we cook everything from scratch using local fresh products & suppliers.
we have over a hundred 5* reviews across google, facebook & other platforms (never less than 5*!!). this contributes to the overall happiness of the couple & their beautiful day.
we are proud to offer great customer service, making the booking process extremely smooth and the couples always feel informed & accommodated, which contributes to an overall great experience of their day & planning process.
we take all our rubbish and don't need to use the kitchen area as we can operate only from our trailer if needed
we also offer crockery and cutlery hire for $7 per head. If you choose this service through us, we will handle the table set-up and clean-up, and we will take all the dirty dishes with us to wash at our depot.
